In another life I was a teacher, a curriculum consultant, and a school librarian for over a decade; my transition from education and into the literary world was no walk in the park. After a few years as a creativity coach, I pivoted to working specifically with writers, understanding the subtle nuances of becoming a wordsmith and the rollercoaster of birthing a book. This community is an extension of that work and I hope it makes it easier for you to connect and find support among fellow writers.

As a member of the Editorial Freelancer's Association and UCLA's Editing and Publishing program, as well as an ICF accredited coach, I help people shape their creative ideas to fruition. I've edited for publishing companies and independent authors; collaborating with others to ensure the integrity of the book's message. I edit both fiction and nonfiction.
