In another life I was a teacher, a curriculum consultant, and a school librarian for over a decade; my transition from education and into the literary world felt like a perfect fit. After a few years as a creativity coach, I pivoted to working specifically with writers. I understood the subtle nuances of becoming a wordsmith and the emotional rollercoaster of birthing a book that my clients grappled with. This community is an extension of that work, all while making it easier for writers to find support.

As a member of the Editorial Freelancer's Association and UCLA's Editing and Publishing program, as well as an ICF accredited coach and a Master's in Educational Psychology, I help people shape their creative ideas to fruition. I've edited for publishing companies and independent authors; collaborating with others to ensure the integrity of a book's message is received. I edit both fiction and nonfiction, in English or in Spanish.

I spend my free time writing, reading, gardening, and drinking tea while my boys wrestle around me. Feel free to reach out anytime for a consultation, find the next writing ensemble, or make me a part of your writing team.
